Established in November 1955 as a manufacturer of electric contacts, OBARA now specialise in total welding solutions and equipment. Their range of products include resistance welders, arc welders, and YAG lasers. Their resistance welding machines are specially designed for automotive industries, while their arc welding tools are made for shipbuilding and construction industries. Acquiring the ISO 14001 certification in March 2009, Obara pledged themselves to contribute to the improvement of the environment through their people and eco-friendly welding machines.
