Expansion is a natural part of your business’ success. In fact, growth is the best indicator of how well your products and services are being received in the market. However, certain factors like adding a new machinery to your mechanical workforce can be more challenging that what you’d normally expect. It’s a very good problem nonetheless, and all you have to do is be prepared by analysing and reevaluating the actual or immediate need of your business operation. Do you need a mobile and moderate duty workhorse or do you need an equipment for its sheer power and size? If you’re leaning towards for the former, then the subject of our farm equipment review today could be just the right fit for your farming needs. Here’s a closer look at the versatile and compact 2015 Toro Dingo W320D Mini Wheel Loader.
Unique versatility
One of the primordial advantages of a compact machinery is the equipment’s ability to perform certain tasks that traditional heavy-duty loaders can’t execute. This becomes more important when your business is transitioning to extend its services and operation or perhaps starting up, providing unique versatility that should give you a slight edge against competitors who aren’t thinking that far ahead at the moment. Aside from that, compact power equipment like mini loaders can bring a new dimension to your operations, opening new opportunities for you to explore.
Two ground speeds
The Toro W320D is a joy to work with, offering great mobility even against some of the rougher terrains that are out there beyond the common fields where we operate. Furthermore, Toro added a convenient option which allows the operator to switch from low or high ground speed for maximum efficiency. As an example, low speed would mean that more hydraulic power would be redirected to the machine’s attachment and accessory; while the high-speed setup puts more power to the wheels.
Quick attach system
Another thing that I personally like about the new Dingo W320D is the machine’s improved quick attach system which is designed by none other than Toro. Supporting more than a dozen of comprehensive and highly functional accessories and implements, the Dingo QAS makes switching attachments relatively easy and as simple as turning two levers. In addition, Toro attachments such as the ones I saw from Digrite are devised to allow installation in just less than a minute or not more than two.
Powerful and reliable
Breaking down the numbers, the new Dingo still looks pretty impressive with a 10.8 gpm (40.9 lpm) at 3000 psi (207 bar) hydraulic system which also manufactures an incredible amount of hydraulic power to auger up to 30″ (76 cm) holes or trench 36″ (91 cm) deep. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a 4-paw independent 4WD that guides hydraulic pressure to all wheels, at all times. Thus, providing greater manoeuvrability and balance.

The productive and labor-saving looks like a great fit for operators who are either starting up, or maybe interested in extending their workforce. For its compact size, the machine actually delivers a pretty solid high power-to-weight ratio in the compact utility loader market. Not only that, since the efficient design of the Dingo is also nicely complemented by a highly durable build that keeps the equipment going for longer periods to maximise its productivity and uptime on the field where it belongs. Summing up, I strongly like the upsides of the Toro Dingo W320D Mini Wheel Loader, proving once again that while size truly matters, it’s not always the bigger machinery that has the upper hand.
