Reliable engine
The Hino 300 series trucks demand to be taken seriously, boasting a solid N04C turbo-diesel engine that offers a class-leading combination of power and torque. The truck’s 4.0-litre engine has been integrated with a common-rail fuel injection system and Variable Nozzle Turbo (VNT) technology that enables it to achieve lower emissions and uncompromised power and fuel efficiency. Also, the innovative set is perfectly in line with the strict Euro 5 and Enhanced Environmentally-Friendly Vehicle (EEV) emissions standards, ensuring us of an engine that is designed to perfection.
Operator comfort
The Hino 300 features a well-spaced cabin that is complemented by an industry leading setup that includes a wide legroom, top quality adjustable suspensions seats, ergonomic controls, and more. Driver comfort has also been further maximised by the inclusion of a tilt and telescopic adjustable column which is now present in nearly all the class-leading trucks in the market. Additionally, the cruise control lets the equipment run at a designated speed, usually resulting in improved fuel efficiency and reduced fatigue for the operator.
Class-leading safety features
One thing that really got me impressed is the fact that the new Hino 300 Series will be the first light duty truck in Australia which will feature a life-saving Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) as standard equipment, proving once again that Hino can be definitely relied on when it comes to road and operator safety.
Ergonomic design
The intuitive and efficient design of the 300 allows the operator to have convenient access to the truck’s service points and key components. In addition, maneuvering the truck proves relatively easy during our test thanks to the machine’s simplistic and well-placed controls that is not only easy to access, but smooth to operate as well.

The Hino 2016 300 Truck Series offers a good deal of standard specs that includes the innovative Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), a first in the Australia within its class. The longstanding truck series also offers a very deep range of options for operators, courtesy of its current 67 model lineup; ensuring that each truck owner can get the right machine that would execute their business needs with utmost efficiency.
