320EL Overview

The Cat 320EL is a part of the newer E series, designed by Cat to be more fuel and energy efficient. Efficiency and long hours are always top-of-mind on the construction site. Knowing this, Cat has designed the 320EL as standard with a range of built-in features that will make it an absolute breeze to work in on those hot Aussie days. Just some of the cab features include:

  • Seats with reclining backs, upper & lower seat slide adjustments, height & tilt angle adjustments

Of course, no excavator would be complete without automatic climate control. The Cat 320EL includes 5 air outlets to make working in extreme heat or cold more comfortable.

Tools & Accessories

Let’s be honest, a big job requires many tools, which is why Cat have created a great selection of attachments to fit the 300 Series. From general duty, heavy duty and severe duty buckets, to stiff link thumbs, hydraulic thumbs and even hydraulic hammers, there’s an attachment or tool for almost every job imaginable.

Safety & Security

The most important aspect of any worksite is the safety and security of employees, site visitors and equipment. For security, the Cat 320EL comes with a one-key security system, door locks, cap locks on fuel and hydraulic tanks, and a lockable external tool/storage box. This range of security features will give you peace of mind, whether you’re the operator or the manager locking up the worksite for the night.

The Caterpillar 320EL also uses modern technology to maximise safety throughout the worksite, these safety features include:

  • Signalling/warning horns
  • Secondary engine shutoff switch
  • Removable lower windshield
  • Rearview camera
  • Travel alarm

Serviceability

To make servicing and maintaining your 320EL simpler, every compartment is easily accessible, with ample space to get in and replace, repair and service components. This includes the priming pump, radiator, air cleaner compartments, fuel and oil filters, air filters, drain cock, engine oil gauge and hydraulic lash adjusters (which adjust automatically to help reduce maintenance costs).

Customer Care

While this isn’t exclusive to their 320EL excavators, Cat provides some of the best after-sales support in the industry. Hundreds of dealers across Australia have access to a worldwide network of OEM parts which will make it easier for you to replace old and worn parts.

Cat also has a complete library of user guides, tutorials, videos and more to help you boost your productivity and feel confident about operating, servicing and using your excavator to its fullest potential.
