The John Deere 8285R has a lot to offer in its comfortable CommandView II cab. It’s fitted with greater visibility, extra room and easy-to-use controls. The cab also features a noise reduction system alongside air conditioning and heating, to ensure total comfort all year ‘round.
With simple CommandARM controls and an integrated CommandCenter display, operation is easy—you don’t have to be a seasoned pro to operate this tractor. The CommandARM in the 8285R tractor also integrates controls that were featured on the right-hand console in previous models. This integration allows controls and the CommandCenter to follow the operator as the seat is moved.
With a 9.0L PowerTech PSX engine, the John Deere 8285R tractor delivers up to 314 engine horsepower for superior performance, when compared to previous models. The addition of the Engine Control Unit also allows engine speed and load changes to be detected 100 times per second.
The PowerTech engine uses 2 turbochargers, a 4 valve-per-cylinder design, and a high-pressure common-rail fuel system to provide excellent engine responsiveness, torque rise, fuel economy and durability.
