Inside the SK135SR Cab

The cab in the Kobelco SK135SR is 4% larger than previous models, making it more comfortable to work in. The new-and-improved operation lever requires 38% less effort to use (compared to previous models), helping to reduce operator fatigue and boost productivity.

All controls in the cab are ergonomically laid out, and the layout is designed to reduce operator fatigue as much as possible. Included in the cab is a bluetooth radio, ensuring you can operate the excavator all day with decent music. As well as an automatic air conditioner to keep the interior comfortable while you work.

Other convenient features include:

  • Spacious storage tray
  • Cup holder
  • USB/AUX port
  • 12v power outlet

The cab also has improved safety, with expanded fields of view and an optional right-side camera.

SK135SR Maintenance Made Easy

Keeping your excavator well maintained is crucial to reducing costs and increasing productivity. The Kobelco SK135SR is designed for simple inspection and maintenance, with plenty of access points and tool-less drainage systems.

All the areas needed for daily maintenance and checks are accessible from the ground level. This includes:

  • Engine oil filter
  • Hydraulic pump
  • iNDr filter
  • Radiator reservoir tank
  • Air cleaner
  • Control valve
  • Water separator

In another effort to reduce maintenance costs and downtime, the hydraulic oil filter has a replacement cycle of 1,000 hours, while the hydraulic oil has a replacement cycle of 5,000 hours.

Standard GEOSCAN Monitoring System

Keeping track of your machinery is easier than ever thanks to GEOSCAN, a remote monitoring system included as standard with the Kobelco SK135SR. This integrated technology allows you to remotely access and monitor information on the excavator from anywhere in the world. It allows you to monitor a range of information, including:

  • Operating hours
  • Fuel consumption
  • Idling times
  • Different work operations: digging, idling, travelling, etc.
  • Maintenance status

But most importantly, it also lets you monitor location, letting you know exactly where the excavator is at any time. Giving you peace of mind that your investment is safe and sound.

Kobelco SK135SR Price

As a mid-range excavator with good power and versatility, the Kobelco SK135SR commands an average price of $66,797 for a used model. This will vary depending on age, condition and attachments.

Of course, the SK135SR isn’t the only mid-range excavator, and there’s plenty of new and used excavators available. Or, browse through excavator auctions here to find out what’s available near you.
