New Manheim Industrial Corporate Fleet & Finance Auction to Specialise in Low-km, Ex-fleet Trucks

Presented by: Cox Automotive Australia & New Zealand

  • Late-model, well-maintained assets from corporate fleets, leasing companies and repossessions.
  • Held every month immediately after the regular Manheim Industrial Transport auction.
  • Kicks off July 12, will strengthen Manheim Industrial’s Transport footprint for buyers and vendors.

Manheim Industrial Australia will launch a new regular transport auction from July this year, specialising in  trucks sourced from corporate fleets, leasing companies and finance repossessions.

The low-km and ex-fleet Transport Corporate Fleet & Finance auctions will be held monthly, immediately  after the regular monthly transport auctions (heavy, light & trailers).

The first auction is scheduled for July 12-16 this year and will incorporate in-demand, late-model transport assets from Manheim Industrial’s key corporate, leasing and rental, and banking clients.

Each monthly sale will run over the second week of every month.

Assets slated for this new monthly auction will generally be later model, with lower odometers and  thorough services histories as expected by the most fastidious operators.

Transport Corporate Fleet & Finance auctions will exist alongside regular Manheim Industrial auctions  focused on sectors including Transport, Civil & Construction, Agriculture and Mining.

“In analysing our go-to-market strategy, the time has come for us to implement some revisions to our  calendar of monthly national auctions,” said Manheim Industrial Head of Sales Adrian Paley.

“First up is our transport category, where our growth has meant the monthly auctions (heavy, light, trailers)  are due for an update.”

“We’ve put thought into how we go about refining the auctions, including but not limited to consideration of  specific asset types, vendor service requirements, asset locations, auction size, marketing methods, our  site capabilities and much more.”
