This item is a brand new air-cooled aftercooler / dryer for cooling hot compressed air and removing moisture from compressed air.

It is ideal for use with piston type air compressors that produce relatively hot compressed air.

Please note this is not a refrigerated compressed air dryer... there is no refrigeration circuit. The compressed air runs through a very efficient radiator with a cooling fan that operates continuously. It uses much less power than a refrigerated dryer and this item will remove up to about 70 percent of the moisture that is produced by the compression process. If you need to remove more moisture than this... please look at our refrigerated and desiccant compressed air dryers.

This aftercooler will cool the compressed air down to very close to ambient temperature... the moisture is then separated and automatically drained from the system via a float type automatic condensate drain.

This aftercooler requires 240-volts and comes with a 3 pin plug attached.

This aftercooler will handle up to 475cfm (224 litres / second) and is suitable for use with electric and diesel air compressors that operate at less than 150psi (1,000kPa).

The inlet and outlet porting for your compressed air is 2 inch BSP (top entry as shown in the photos)... we can provide connecting unions, isolating valves and other fittings if necessary... please call for details.
