The condensed water and cold air flow into the moisture separator, where the liquid is collected and removed by the condensate drain, ensuring maximum moisture removal. Once the liquid is removed, the cold, dry compressed air passes through the cold side of the first-stage heat exchanger. Here, it is reheated by the warm incoming air, elevating the discharge air temperature and preventing pipe sweating. The treated compressed air is now ready for use downstream.
