The dryer utilizes a two-stage heat exchanger system to maintain consistent dew points and prevent freeze-ups, ensuring optimum performance. By integrating high-quality components and refrigeration controls, the system efficiently reduces the temperature of compressed air to 2°C, turning it into liquid condensate. The condensate and cold air then flow into the moisture separator, where the liquids are collected and removed by the condensate drain, ensuring maximum moisture removal.
After the liquids are removed, the cold, dry compressed air passes through the cold side of the first-stage heat exchanger. Here, it is reheated by the warm incoming air, elevating the discharge air temperature and preventing pipe sweating. The result is treated compressed air that is ready for use downstream.
