At its very core, every AusMIX feed mixer is equipped with a Fibre-X vertical Auger which integrates three different types of heat-treated tungsten carbides knife. Built for heavy-duty action, It can easily cut through high fiber, forage, grain, or heavy wet rations and produce a thorough and consistent TMR feed from start to finish.

In terms of durability, the XL 12 should not disappoint as the company didn’t bother to skimp on materials. At 20 mm and 10 mm, the Auger, Tub Floor and Tub Walls look really solid and premium already without having to do the ol’ “knock with your knuckles” test.

This mixer wagon also comes with a nifty observation platform so you can keep a close eye on the operations and prevent over mixing or any other mishaps from occurring.

Nothing feels more convenient than unloading the feed from the 12 m? tub thanks to its standard 1.5 mm conveyor belt that can come equipped with either a stainless steel pan or rubber belt depending on your needs. But you can also choose to have Side Shift Conveyors or a longer flip-up conveyor belt that’s up to 4 m long. As with most feed mixers, the AUSmix XL 12 is filled over the top through the use of a loader.

To close out, the XL 12 requires a tractor with a minimum of 75 HP to function effectively. It is linked together with a Premium Two-Speed Gearbox that’s made in Italy. It is designed with heavy planetary gearboxes to consistently handle heavy loads and can process big bales or high forage/ fiber ration mix with ease.
