The Tony is born from a series of very advanced design projects, focused on the most exclusive technical contents currently available in the field of agricultural mechanization. A philosophy that the Antonio Carraro house applies to all its tractors, from the largest machines to the most specialized.
Previously, a detailed engineering study was carried out to miniaturize all parts of the vehicles to maintain the compactness and agility offered by the continuous variable transmission, controlled by software that allows many of the operations to be customized.
The driving position guarantees an extraordinary operational comfort thanks to its easy access on board, its tunnel free of levers and its cabin without edges provided with all the comforts.
ITAC operating system. A screen with multiple functions and a single objective: a tractor always to the maximum for a perfect job.
The ITAC operating system has four main functions:
Function control: monitors the temperature, pressure, sensors and the correct revolution of the motor based on the work carried out (Torque Control).
Function Setting: allows you to set various parameters in the vehicle, such as tires or direction, using the functions Wheels Setting, Drive Direction, Fast, Reverse.
Safety Control: security system that constantly checks the proper functioning of the software.
TMC System, tractor management control: represents the man-machine interface system. The TMC allows the operator to perform any type of work in automatic mode.
Continuous transmission Tony: the transmission provides exceptional sensitivity both at work and in circulation, maintaining optimal speed in any situation. From 10 m / h to 40 km / h, you can choose the ideal speed for each type of work, whether on the flat, on the hill or in the steepest terrain. The engine runs fully and without interruptions (of course, also during critical moments: change in inclination or speed), since the transmission is always connected.
The Tony transmission is ultra-compact, hydrostatic-mechanical hybrid, which optimizes the performance of the tractor and offers excellent operational efficiency. It allows the operator to obtain maximum accuracy and performance at work, as well as an extraordinary ease of use. The perfect example is the electronic inverter (which is operated by a lever on the steering wheel or with the joystick), which can be activated at any time and at any speed in both directions of travel.
The transmission of the Tony is controlled by means of an operating system. When selecting a work program, an immediate transmission response occurs. The tractor always moves smoothly, without discontinuity or sudden movements, even during startup. There is no clutch pedal. The operator will only have to choose the speed parameters, the speed of the engine or a combination of both, as the work requires.
ON Board Service Diagnostics: The engineering of each piece of the Tony has been studied to allow easy access and help make the maintenance interventions of the tractor fast and practical. The Service function, controlled by a software, shows the indications for the maintenance of the tractor on the screen of the control panel; every time an "error" is detected in the use of the tractor, a code appears on the screen that corresponds to each type of dysfunction. The operator can, therefore, determine such dysfunctionality in real time and make the appropriate correction, whether functional or diagnostic.
The Uniflex electronic adjustment suspension allows you to transfer part of the weight of the implement to the wheels of the vehicle. It reduces the pressure that the implement exerts on the ground, which brings several advantages: less compaction; lower resistance to pulling or pushing; higher productivity; reduction of consumption; greater adherence; greater stability. Damping for road transport.
The Uniflex suspension with coaxial cylinders increases its efficiency thanks to the reduced number of friction points. Its new design allows the implement to adapt immediately to the profile of the terrain while advancing, maintaining a constant pressure to the ground and increasing the speed and precision of the work.
Optional JMC - Joystick multi-controller: The JMC joystick has been developed following the most innovative design criteria in order to achieve greater ergonomics and flexibility of the electrohydraulic accessory.
The ergonomics of the Joystick Multi-Controller derive from the observation of the working mode and the movements of the operator when driving the tractor. Its shape seeks to reduce the fatigue of the hand and arm during work hours. The console located under the forearm has a tapered and essential design that increases the space available to the operator, who can adjust the position to his liking. All the buttons are arranged in a logical sequence: the access to the controls is fast and intuitive to achieve a perfect symbiosis between man and machine.
Flexibility: the flexibility of the Multi-Controller device is revealed thanks to a programmable management system: the operator can choose between different work programs by assigning the Joystick colour buttons the preselected sequence of use for each type of implement. The JMC joystick drives the oil flow to the tractor hydraulic sockets proportionally, to control any type of implement with precision. Each implement will have, therefore, multiple possibilities of regulation. By means of 3 practical potentiometers installed in the console, it is possible to regulate with exactitude the quantity of oil that is sent to the double effect sockets and the continuous flow of oil for hydraulic motors.
