BILLABONG HYDRAULIC WATER RAMS (BHRs) FOR SALE
(Ref.7080, 7107)
Misal Technologies Pty. Ltd. is the manufacturer of Australian designed Billabong Hydraulic Water Rams. The Billabong Water Rams were introduced to the Australian market in 1855. The BHRs has an established reputation and is considered an icon in the Australian water supply industry. In 2005, the BHRs celebrated their 150th anniversary.
The company supplies the full range of BHRs to the Australian and overseas market place. The range consists of Ram numbers 3-7, and Ram No. 10.
The RAM operating mechanism relies on harvesting kinetic energy from water supplied under fall conditions to the unit. The operation does not rely on any external source of fuel (electricity, petrol, diesel, gas, steam etc.), and only uses the harvested kinetic energy of water flowing into the Ram for the water transfer / pumping operation. The BHR technology—including full specifications and performance capabilities—is available upon request.
The Billabong Hydraulic Water Rams have been manufactured and used in Australia for approximately 157 years, with hundreds of satisfied Australian and Overseas Customers enjoying continuous water supply at no cost to them. The Billabong Rams have proven technology with the units renowned for their longevity and reliability. There are instances where 2nd or 3rd generation of farmers have been operating and using the same RAM unit for more than 60 years. In 2012, a Victorian consumer inquired about the spare parts for Billabong Ram No. 6 installed by his father in 1948! Recently, one Ram No.6 was received for refurbishment (the age of the RAM unit is approximately 80 years old). The Billabong Hydraulic Rams are also renowned in the Pacific Region. Previous sales included approximately 20 units of Billabong Hydraulic Rams No.7 to the United Nations for the Solomon Islands, which were used to supply water to remote mountainous villages in the Solomon jungles.
