CMS GEA - Efficient CNC for Glass Processing

The GEA is a 3 or 4-axis (optional) Numerically Controlled machining center to machine both thin and thick flat glass as well as laminated glass and bullet-proof glass. This machine can perform all types of grinding, polishing, drilling, milling, sawing with diamond blade, V-Grooving, engraving, and 5° bevelling.

The ergonomic working height of 780mm and reduced distance of the table from the operator makes this machine a breeze to work with. The maximum panel size of 3540 x 1900mm allows the processing of most workpieces.

The gantry system on the Y-Axis provides the bridge motion via two brushless servo motors synchronized by the Numeric Control, in order to ensure extreme accuracy by reducing positioning errors caused by mechanical elasticity. The monoblock, ribbed, electrically welded, and stress relieved ultra-thick steel base guarantees sturdiness and rigidity for difficult machining work and the longevity of the machine.

The machine comes with a few key options to benefit the operator & business owner:
- Laser Pre-setting Device is integrated into the tool magazine as to not infringe on the working area of the table
- Dynamic compensation of the polishing wheels for excellent machining quality
- Automatic Lubrication of all main axes & guides with minimum level signalling
- Diamond Wheel redressing & Polishing Wheel reshaping device integrated on the machine to increase life of tooling
- Automatic Thickness Probe to ensure the glass is profiles evenly on all sides.
- Easyglass Software for seamless integration into existing ERM software or as a standalone powerful CAD/CAM software with tooling database and dxf import.
