“ Forstner Bits” or clean cutting boring bits have been any woodworkers precision drilling and recessing tool since forever!

Many examples of these boring bits have been manufactured all over the world and available in sets by most woodworking retailers. The quality of the materials is tantamount as they drill in extreme positions and many different hardness/speed situations that can blunten the cutting edges.

These “Columbian” Forstner Bits apart from being quality manufactured have been heat-treated with a Titanium Nitride process that toughens the cutting edges to allow higher speed drilling in very harder/tough timbers. The product is presented in a tidy box set and has seven (7) cutters from ¼-1” ideal for cabinetmaking, counter-sinking and fine box making. (Retail value $75.00/set)
