The Comec RP1000 head and block resurfacer is the perfect machine for resurfacing cylinder heads and blocks for cars and trucks, as well as for any flat surfaces requiring a precise, finished machining. Key components such as the base, table, column, and head are made from high-quality, wide-ribbed cast iron to ensure greater rigidity during operation. The table feed is controlled by a recirculating ball screw, which offers exceptional precision even at slow speeds. A frequency inverter linked to the motor reducer allows for variable feed rates, adjustable via a potentiometer. Additionally, a second inverter helps achieve the optimal spindle speed for the best finish, whether using abrasive sectors for grinding or CBN-PCD tooling for high-speed resurfacing. The ergonomically designed control panel features a digital display for spindle speed and can be adjusted for operator comfort. The machine also offers a variety of optional accessories, including an adjustable setup fixture for cylinder heads, a V-block mounting kit, and a rotating backing pad for grinding flywheels, clutch friction plates, or brake discs.
