Description

This dust collector is suitable for various dust-generating applications, including borers, crushers, drills, mills, grinders, mixers, powder packing and unpacking, sand blasting, woodworking, and many others.

It operates by drawing in dirty air through the 150mm diameter inlet (ducting can be fitted to this inlet) to the filter via the fan. Initially, some pre-separation occurs in the unit hopper, where heavy particles fall into the dust container below. Finer dust particles are carried up to the filter bags, where they are retained on the outer surface of the filter fabric. The clean air passes through the filter fabric into the fan chamber and is then discharged. At regular intervals, the cleaning mechanism is activated, dislodging the collected dust from the filter elements so that it falls into the container below.

The unit is complete with a mechanical shaker for cleaning the filter bags.

An inbuilt timer controls the cleaning time.
