The adjustable seed wheels can be calibrated based on what type of seed you’re working with like Oats, Barley, Grass, or sorghum while having the capability to calibrate in just a few minutes.
This machine also comes with TWO independent ground-driven gearboxes: one for controlling seed dosage and another for fertilizer dosages!
Direct Drill
This Seed drill is armed with a 24-row tine drill with 5-inch spacings with hydraulic front coulters and incorporates seed and fertilizer boxes. It boasts a Double Shoot system with staggered drop levels that maximizes seed placement while minimizing the risk of seed burn from the fertilizer. This is followed by a set of press wheels and covering tines to maximize seed soil contact.
One highlight that this machine has is its Baker boot style point creates excellent tilth for seed bedding. It works in conjunction with the hydraulic front coulters to ensure a clean-cut over the existing surface while minimizing disturbance in over-sowing applications.
High Capacity Seed Drill
This extraordinary machine can simultaneously carry as much as 1080 L of seeds and 700 L of fertilizers and dispense them at a rate of 2kg – 150kg+ p/Ha.
The FDD 3000 features oversized bearings on each disc. Each double row arm is mounted to a 4x triangular rubber mounted block which significantly reduces moving parts and increases the life of the components.
