FAV30-400 Hydraulic Vibratory Hammer

FAV Hydraulic Vibratory Hammers are designed and manufactured based on years of practical experience and knowledge in the construction industry. Every detail on the hammers and power packs are carefully designed for practical, user friendly application and ease of maintenance.

In line with FAV Hydraulic Vibratory Hammer tradition of continuous improvement there has recently been some additions to the vibratory hammer family. The FAV30-400 is an upgrade on the ever popular FAV416.

Vibratory hammers are used to drive sheet, ‘H’ Beam and casing into or extract them from the ground for building marine docks, bridges, buildings, roads, rail, walls, and many other types of foundations. Traditional impact pile drivers are very loud and use a large weight to strike the pile. Vibratory hammers however are very quiet and have many advantages.

A few advantages of vibratory hammers are that they can drive piles much more quickly, extract old piles out of the ground, can be used underwater, are light weight, protect the environment (especially animal life), can be used in close proximity to residential areas without noise complaints, and are smaller and easier to ship than impact hammers.

All Fav vibratory hammers and power packs are manufactured to ISO9001 standards and have European CE certification. They utilise Rexroth hydraulics, John Deere or Caterpillar diesel engines for strength of performance and reliability.
