Thanks to over 90 years of continuous development, Ficep has become the world's largest producer of automated systems for fabricating structural steel and plate. Ficep's extensive range of innovative products and aggressive market penetration have been achieved through the establishment of numerous subsidiaries worldwide.
The innovative features of the Ficep NOZOMI robot make it the ideal choice for fabricating structural shapes and round pipes using the plasma thermal cutting process. Recent advancements in Hypertherm’s “True Hole” process enhance the efficiency of thermal cutting for copes, mechanical openings, weld preparations, and, in some applications, bolt holes. Additionally, the plasma torch can be utilized for marking, allowing for part marking, layout locations with orientation marks, and weld symbols—all within the same thermal processing cell.
With the Ficep NOZOMI, all manual operations related to layout, marking, thermal cutting, and extensive grinding are eliminated. All thermal cutting operations can be performed in line with a drill line, saving time and valuable shop space. This results in drastically reduced and predictable production times, while minimizing human error associated with manual operations. Furthermore, the shop floor space required for these tasks is significantly decreased.
