Description

Drop saws or cut off saws are a necessity for any aluminium fabricator.

The FOM INDUSTRIE Sika Plus is a heavy duty mitre saw with a large 400mm diameter saw blade, driven by a high torque motor.
Its capacity is impressive with over 200mm of cutting width, standard mitring and compound mitre facility. Dual pneumatic horizontal clamps and vertical clamp with automatic lubrication makes sawing easy with the FOM Sika Plus.
The solid cast iron table with precision machined components make this drop saw a leader in its class.
A full range of accessories for infeed and out feed rollers and measuring devices are available.
FOM Sika Plus features:
High torque 3 Phase 3 HP motor 2850 rpm.
Self-braking motor with blade stop in less than 10 sec
Cutting lubrication by mist spray
2 horizontal vices 1 vertical vice
Compound cutting angle from 45° Lh to 90°
Blade rotation from -45°Lh to 45°Rh on vertical axis
Intermediate angles with mechanical stop
Manual blade lowering (with lever) with pneumatic servo control to reduce operator stress
