STRUCTURE
All the machine structural components have been designed using a CAD product for solid modelling which allows to determine the possible structural distortions caused by static and dynamic loads.
The machine base consists of a single component made up of thick heavy gauge steel and is machined to the highest tolerances to give maximum rigidity and too minimize vibration. The X, Y is driven by high precision “direct drive” rack and pinion and the Z axis by high precision industrial recirculating ball screws allowing for smoother and faster processing.
GUIDES OF CONTROLLED AXES
All axes use linear guides in tempered and ground steel with preloaded bearings. A sliding gasket protects the guides from any chips or dust. The dimensions and the great center distance between the guides grant precision and optimum finish even if the operating unit performs a great travel along Y.
MOTORISATION OF CONTROLLED AXES
The machine uses Brushless motors, controlled by digital drives. DIGITAL interface between numerical control and axes drives. The digital system grants:
• Greater machining speed, since the tool route is partly controlled by the drive instead of the numerical control.
• High working precision, thanks to faster data processing.
• High reliability, thanks to a reduced wiring system which eliminates electrical interferences typical of analogic systems.
• Reduced machine stops and downtime, thanks to the error diagnostics with explanatory messages displayed on the control.
AUXILIARY VACUUM SYSTEM
It allows the locking of pieces through special jigs - 5 Vacuum Work Zones.
At the end of the work cycle only the worked piece is released. The jig remains locked to the vacuum modules and a new piece can be loaded.

UNLOADING SYSTEM
This system consists of an unloading system which unloads the pieces after the cycle has been completed. The arm is fixed onto the Y axis beam and moves pneumatically in Z.
The pieces during the unloading cycle are guided by linear bars positioned on the front and back stops.
The system includes:
• Panel unloading arm
• Top connection to the dust extraction system for the sweeping arm
• Special back stops, with linear bars, to guide the unloading of the processed pieces
• Special front stops, with linear bars and respective pneumatic system, to guide the unloading of the processed pieces
TOOL TOUCHOFF FUNCTION
Device for contact measurement of tool length.The device is fixed to the machine base which it checks the length of the tool and it updates the values in the tool table of the numerical control.

LUBRICATION SYSTEM
At each time interval, programmable through the control, the pump automatically sends the lubricant to the following machine components, with no machine downtime and no operator's intervention:
• X axis: Sliding blocks of the linear guides
• Y axis: Sliding blocks of the linear guides
• Z axis: Sliding blocks of the linear guides and ball screw
• Spindle: Sliding blocks of the linear guide or ball screw nut if the setting axis is present.
VACUUM CLAMP SYSTEM
