Price on Application
This secondhand plastics processing plant is a high-performance densification and agglomeration system, designed to handle various types of waste plastics, including rigid and soft plastics, foams, carpet fibres, PET flakes, and films.
It was in full working condition upon decommissioning, where it was used to process both soft and rigid plastics into agglomerate for moulding applications. The system is ideal for producing a consistent, homogeneous densified material, making it highly versatile for different recycling needs.
The system includes two Herbold Plastcompactor HV 70/250 units, each capable of processing approximately 1 tonne per hour, depending on the input material (see attached technical information). An additional HV 50/110 unit is included, which can be used for spares or further processing.
Beyond traditional plastic recycling, this type of plant has been used to create industrial additives such as injection moulding feedstock, light aggregate for concrete and/or kiln fuel, offering broader use cases in various industries. This flexibility makes it a highly sought-after piece of equipment in today's recycling market.
Included Equipment - located in NSW:
2 x Herbold Plastcompactor HV 70/250
Working hours: 19,651
Storage silos (4m³ each) with feeding screws
Herbold granulators: SML 45/100-S4-2 and SML 60/100-S4-2
Conveying system and recycling system for fines
