Perfect for small to medium-sized farms, this pasture drill combines robust construction with an extra-large capacity for grain and fertilizer bins. It offers long service life and flexibility with infinitely adjustable gearbox or electric drive options.
The drill features a 3.5-metre transport width and 23 sowing rows spaced at 155mm (6”) for efficient planting. Dual depth wheels ensure excellent flotation, while heavy-duty construction provides durability and reliability. Users can choose from a variety of tynes and benefit from an infinitely adjustable gearbox or optional electric drive for precise sowing rate adjustments. The rear depth wheels are designed to maximize sowing width relative to the transport width.
A wide 450mm loading platform, complete with a handrail and steps, enhances ease of use. The robust main chassis includes large 16mm thick wheel mounts fitted with high flotation tyres, 12mm front-to-rear frame supports, and three 75mm x 75mm mounting ranks. The lead between ranks measures 470mm between ranks 1 and 2, and 425mm between ranks 2 and 3.
Calibration is straightforward with electronic scales and an in-cab electronic hectaremeter. The double disc opener is engineered to perform well across various soil types and conditions. Its compact design positions the press wheel closer to the sowing boot compared to other models. The true parallelogram unit enhances ground contour following, providing uniform seed placement. The opener offers 254mm (10”) of vertical ground-following capability, contributing to better seed placement and soil compaction for improved germination.
