Introducing our 5-Series Seeder Bar, configured with 630 spring-actuated tyne assemblies, providing an affordable and effective solution for secondary tillage and seeding applications. This model is well-suited for lighter soil conditions in conventional and minimum till farming practices, offering a lighter pull compared to more flexible hydraulic tyne machines.
The 5-250 Seeder Bar features a five-row configuration designed for efficient trash clearance and provides good under-frame clearance. The tyne assemblies are fitted with spring-adjustable 630 tynes, which allow for breakout adjustment up to 158 kg (350 lb). The row spacing is 250 mm (9.8 inches), and the tyne foot includes two bolt holes to accept a wide range of points. The machine is equipped with walking beam axles and high flotation tyres, enhancing its performance in various conditions.
Available in sizes ranging from 8.5 meters (27 feet) to 15 meters (48 feet 10 inches), the 5-250 Seeder Bar can be used for secondary tillage and sowing in conjunction with an Airseeder. Its lighter design reduces the pulling force required, leading to potential fuel cost savings.
Constructed with a five-row 75 mm x 75 mm frame, the Seeder Bar features dual walking wheels on the centre section and wings, with the 33 tyne model having centre-only wheels. The machine is fitted with 10.00 tyres, with 9.00 tyres available as an option. Depth control is managed via series-connected hydraulic wheel lift cylinders.
The 630 tyne assembly is designed with dual springs, a spring steel 25 x 50 mm shank, and a two-bolt hole foot. It includes a large 25 mm diameter greasable pivot pin with a hardened single bush and a heavy-duty clamp. For convenience, a single spanner size adjusts spring pressure and clamp nuts. The straight leading edge shank provides excellent under-frame clearance to promote efficient trash flow, making it a versatile choice for various soil conditions.
