John Shearer Stubby Hydraulic Trashworker - Easy Tillage for Small Operations

Introducing our versatile Stubby Hydraulic Trashworker, designed to make tillage easy for smaller operations. This trailing cultivator is ideal for trash farming, stubble mulch operations, and as a chisel plough to break up hard pans. The Shearer hydraulic tyne assemblies are adjustable on the go, with a breakout force of up to 455 kg (1000 lb).

The Trashworker is available in 13, 15, and 17 tyne models, with sizes of 4.0 meters, 4.6 meters, and 5.2 meters. It features high flotation tyres for optimal performance, excellent trash clearance, and a wide lead between rows. The proven tyne layout ensures effective operation, with the edge-on tyne measuring 50 mm x 32 mm (2 inches x 1¼ inches).

The frame is constructed from 100 mm (4 inches) RHS and heavy-duty longitudinal “I” beam sections. The rigid hitch, made of 205 mm x 135 mm “I” beam sections, is adjustable to match the tractor drawbar height and working depth. Tyne sections are made from heat-treated nickel chrome high carbon steel, and pivot pins and bushes are 35 mm in diameter and induction hardened. The tyne assemblies are clamped to the implement frame for durability.

The John Shearer 1000 lb Hydraulic Tyne Assembly is built for toughness and reliability, offering on-the-go tyne breakout pressure adjustment from the tractor seat. The clamp-on design mounts easily onto 100 mm x 100 mm (4 inches x 4 inches) heavy-duty RHS, making retrofitting to existing machines straightforward with easy-to-follow installation instructions.
