MECBIO - MENART TR-1950 Mobile Trommel Screen for Various Waste Material

An autonomous machine designed for the screening of organic matter and more materials.
The MENART TR series makes it possible to separate product of a specific grain size from the coarse
fraction called "oversize".

A tilted rotary drum covered with a lattice of round wire meshes is fed by a feed hopper (loaded mechanically by crane, wheel loader with high flow, conveyor...).
The screened fraction is recovered below the drum by a belt conveyor, then transversely evacuated by a second inclined discharge conveyor belt which onto a heap.
The "oversize" fraction is rejected at the back of the drum and discharged by a third conveyor belt placed on the machine spindle.

The drum is tilted which allows a natural and regular advance of the compost through the drum using the whole screening surface (this concept avoids the use of the endless screw essential with horizontal drum screens). The square reinforcement tubes actively carry the matter to the top of the drum, contributing at the same time to the quality of work and to the high capacity of the screen.
