The MPB Automatic Denailing machine is targeted at the pallet refurbishing industry and is designed to cut nails from, and size, pallet bearers. The nails are cut from the bearers by twin cutter heads (one for each side) which simultaneously sizes the bearer to a set size.
The Denailer was designed with simplicity and sturdiness in mind, and above all operator safety. The rugged conditions the machine is exposed to requires a robust and solid design, while maintaining the reliability all MPB Engineering machines are well known for. The reliability is partially due to the simplicity in the design and also the quality components used.
The bearers are loaded into a hopper setup, holding maximum 4 pieces, which is then feed into the machine by a air actuated cylinder. Once in the machine a chain carries the bearer past the twin cutters and onto the unloading station. The loading and unloading stations can be automated to allow for seamless integration into an automatic line. Contact MPB Engineering for more information on the automatic loading/unloading stations.
