“KREG” square drive, pocket-hole drills for all cabinetmaking and joinery projects.
Robertson square drive screws were created in Canada last century by a Mr Robertson who maintained that they were a more positive drive connection than Mr Phillips (USA), phillips drive that we all know!
Unfortunate for Mr Robertson, Henry Ford chose “Phillips” drive screws for his new vehicles so these square drives were not so prevalent as history will reveal.
However, the invention of the “KREG” Pocket hole jointing device some 25 years ago, revitalised the popularity in square drives allowing complex timber joints to be prepared and easily secured with these extremely strong screw devices.
A wide range of these Kreg screws are available from 1.25” ( 32mm) – 3” (75mm) in fine, course, Zn plated in quantities from 200 -5000/box.
“Kreg” Jig owners or any other jointing system will appreciate the availability of a large range and quantity of these screws at very competitive wholesale prices !
