8-Tonne, 10-Tonne, 14-Tonne Drum Stand Mounted on Trailer
Trailers can carry a maximum weight of 20,000kg. They can accommodate either 8-Tonne, 10-Tonne, 14-Tonne Drum Stands. The Drum Stands can be provided with most of the accessories listed under their appropriate Drum Stand size sections of this . Depending on the requirements of the customer they can be provided with 500kg or 1,000kg at 1m diameter drum rotators. These Drum Stand trailers are designed to drop cable into open trenches so they can be provided with additional toe coupling at the back making it possible to couple a 3-Tonne trailer for handling fibre optic cable. As an alternative, a second drum can be placed on a spindle in front of the main drum to carry drums of fibre optic cable up to 1,500kg. If the requirement is for larger drums of fibre optic cable, then a second trailer will have to be towed behind. Drum Stand trailers can be provided with a range of optional equipment including cable feed systems, spreader bars and associated lifting equipment, pendant or radio remote controls. All trailers are manufactured in such a way that even with optional cable feeders they are ADR approved and can be driven on public roadways.

All Drum Stands are hot tip galvanized and all spindle hardware is zinc plated and gold passivated. The hydraulic disc brake is manufactured from stainless steel and the power pack enclosure is powdercoated. There is lifting lugs provided at all four corners of the Drum Stand. Drums Stands are attached to the trailer via four container locks. The drum shank can be separated from the trailer and can be used as an independent unit. The hydraulic power pack includes water cooled diesel engine and suitable hydraulic valving and filtration system suitable to operate in harsh environments. The hydraulic power pack has a noise rating of 85dBA or less.
Parts Books & Operating Instructions:
The equipment is supplied with one copy of an operation manual which includes operating instructions, safety information, major assembly drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics (if applicable), etc. Additional copies are available upon request at nominal cost.
Change in Specification:
Design and improvement of products is a continuous process. We, therefore reserve the right to make design improvements differing from this specification after receipt of an order. However, any major changes will only be made with the approval of the customer or its’ representatives.
Warranty:
12 months parts and labour in accordance with guarantee and sales conditions.
