SCM Nova SI 400 panel saw features a larger
400 mm diameter blade capacity with a maximum cutting depth of 140 mm
The machine includes an overhead crown guard for added protection and increased dust extraction efficiency making it ideal for both panel sawing and solid timber processing.
Supporting the panel throughout the cut is an anodized aluminum alloy carriage sliding on hardened steel guides, which are fixed on the carriage by means of mechanical bending system.
The independent scoring saw unit is adjusted by user-friendly mechanical levers resulting in precise and smooth movements while useful mechanical stops identify the set position. Rise, fall and tilt adjustment of the main saw and scoring saw are done manually by means of handwheels on the machine front.
