Introducing the SC70 HiTorque Gear Head Lathe—the next-generation gear head variable speed lathe from SIEG. Engineered for industrial-grade precision, this lathe represents a substantial upgrade over any bench lathe currently on the market.
Key features include a 1kw HiTorque brushless motor with a torque controller, a precision-ground and induction-hardened V-bed, an oil-bathed gearbox, a quick-change tool post, a cam-lock tailstock, powered longitudinal and cross feeds, and a large 26mm spindle bore.
Compared to its predecessor, the C6, the new SC70 features a wider bed for enhanced rigidity and stability, along with an additional 30kg in total weight. Equipped with SIEG’s advanced HiTorque brushless motor, it offers exceptional performance and greater usable torque across the entire RPM range. Furthermore, the oil-bathed gearbox enables the cutting of both metric and imperial threads.
