The Slanetrac FH80 excavator slasher is a low maintenance, heavy duty brush cutter. It features four hard-wearing boron steel blades that are individually replaceable. The adjustable Slanetrac ‘Star’ spline integrated into the hitch allows cutting to take place at any angle whether horizontal and vertical, simply loosening one 30mm bolt allows quick rotation of the whole attachment.
The slasher is compact, and designed to allow the operator to cut close to and around obstacles.
The hardened boron steel blades allow the FH80 to cut up to 120mm thick vegetation. The twin flail configuration produces a clean cut, ideal for:
Tall Fibrous Grasses
Hedges
Lantana
Blackberry
Gorse
Black Wattle, Fireweed, Tea Trees, and Other Small Trees
The body of the slasher is made from durable thick steel. The motor drives the blades via a 90 degree ratioed gearbox, allowing the attachment to run without massive draw of oil flow from the machine. The FH80 is fitted with a pressure relief valve to protect the motor from excessive pressure, and as such does not require a case drain.
