KU01 E AIR
Smoking chamber KU 01 E AIR is compact device designed for the processing
of food PSG plus s.r.o.
products, especially meat, fish, poultry and dairy products.
The smoking chambers enables thermal processing of smoked meat products
without any additional handling operation.

The KU01E AIR smoking chamber ensures in the food technologic process
drying, cooking and smoldering as well as controlled low temperature drying and
smoking with cold smoke.

a) One trolley chamber – consists from panel construction connected to one unit.
Connections are sealed with silicone sealing, each panels are insulated by PUR
foam , which ensures perfect insulation agains the heat leakage. Thermal insulation
is oversized to heat load up to 150°C. Whole chamber is manufactured
from food stainless steel AISI 304. .
b) technological ceiling - ensures air treatment according to requirements of
food processing technology for exapmle. heating, humidification. In this part
is heating unit placed (electric register), water spraying for cooking and water
spraying nozzle. dyza.
c) technological flaps – are providing air in and out from the chamber, the flaps
are controlled by the control system, their drive is pneumatic..
d) main fan – ensures air circulation between the chamber and technological
unit, while ensures uniform flow in the area of heat processing of food
product, the change of the speed is controled by frequency converter. We use
1pc of circulating, self-controlled fans via a frequency inverter, which ensures
a perfect distribution of the flow in the chamber

e) Suction fan - ensures extraction of extra vapors from the chamber and thus
improves drying performance as well as eliminates pressure losses in the
exhaust pipe.
f) Air osmosis AIR – ensures air conditioning for controlled product drying

g) Smoke generator – provides smoking of a food product while is giving colour
and taste smell to the product. Smoke generator fully automatic control unit,
ignition is solved by electric spiral, sifting by worm gearbox. The generator is
designed to burn beech chips (about 10-12 mm) Sensor system is sensoring the
amount of wood chips in a hopper as well as temperature of a smoke base on
which is assessing necessity for ignition, air closing and overall performance of
a smoke generator.
h) Washing vessel - A device that provides a supplying of cleaning solution and a
supplying for the transport pump. We will ensure the washing of the chamber and
each single technological components with hygienic standards. (HACC)
i) electrical switchboard - a set of relays, circuit breakers, contactors and other
electrical components that provide operation of the device.
j) Sensors – ensure sensing of physical quantities needed to process a food product
such as temperature, core temperature, humidity.
k) control electronics - ensures the operation of the device according to the selected
program, divided into individual phases where the operator selects the individual
parameters of the technological processing of the food product as is room
temperature, core temperature, humidity in the chamber, time and based on
selected magnitudes is controling each sections of machine like heating, fan operation,
humidification, technological flaps etc. The control unit allows to select 100
programs, archiving the parameters of the technological process of processing the
food product in according to HACC, output to a computer for data monitoring and
archiving.
l) Cooling sprayballs- to cool the finished product after the heat treatment, while the
operation of that device is provided by the control system based on the selected

program section, either on time or at core temperature after the product has finished
spraying, the entire system is blown through automatic compressed air.
