New - Stainless Steel 304 Hammer Mill.
The hammer mill is composed of a feed hopper, upper and lower bodies, a rotor, a screen, a feed pipe, a suction fan and a dust cyclone.
Once the material is fed through into the crushing chamber from the feed hopper, it is hit and crushed by the high speed rotating hammers. Driven by airflow, the crushed material is continuosly hit and particle size is reduced to required diameter. (Determined by screen size fitted.) The fan will suck the crushed material through the screen and feed product into the cyclone for collection into a storage bag attached at the bottom of the cyclone.
Uses can include but not limited to: Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice, and sorghum are commonly processed in hammer mills for animal feed or flour production. Wood chips, sawdust, bark, and small branches can be ground down for use in biofuel, composting, or particleboard production. Hay, straw, husks, and stalks (like corn stalks) can be processed for livestock bedding or feed. Softer minerals like limestone, gypsum, or coal can be crushed, though harder materials might require specialized hammer mills. Dry chemicals, fertilizers, or pharmaceutical ingredients can be milled into finer powders.
Hammer mill is mounted to a stainless steel frame on casters and is easy to move around.
