TUCKWELL MVM FX Series Knife Grinders - Heavy Duty Grinding and Lapping Machines

The MVM FX series is a heavy-duty series of knife grinders suited to fulfil the needs of knife and blade manufacturers or for special purposes.

The MVM FX series comes in two variations:

MVM FX20:

The FX20 model grinding machine is available with grinding lengths ranging from 1500 mm to 7100 mm, and longer for special grinding applications.

The FX 20 grinder features a high-power grinding wheel motor making it suitable for surface grinding as well as knife sharpening.

It features a heavy-duty reinforced machine base which gives the machine maximum stability.

Fully covered upper and side guides are standard.

The FX 20 grinding machine features a Siemens PLC that controls the complete grinding program and carriage movement during the various stages of the working cycle. The FX 20 is suitable for all industrial straight knives, such as chipper knives, granulator blades, veneer knives, guillotine blades, paper knives, and over-sized knives, and can be used for surface grinding and complete straight knife manufacturing.

MVM FX40:

The FX40 model grinding machine builds on the structure of the FX20 and is available with grinding lengths ranging from 1500 mm to 7100 mm, and longer for special grinding applications.

The FX40 has a high powered grinding wheel motor, this grinding machine is recommended for major knife and blade manufacturers or companies needing to surface grind large work-pieces.
