TUCKWELL - MVM KS250 Knife Grinding Machine 7.5HP - Made in Italy

The M.V.M KS250 Series of Knife Grinders represent quality, reliability and accuracy.


The KS 250 model grinder is available with working lengths ranging from 1500 mm to 7100 mm, and longer for special machining purposes. The reinforced machine base gives the machine maximum stability. Squared, protected built-in upper and side runners. The grinder model features a PLC that controls wheel downfeed and carriage movement during the various stages of the work cycle.


Mechanical features:

Rotating magnetic chuck from 0° to 90° (Polarity 20 mm);
Grinding motor 5,5 kW (7.5 HP);
Segments holding ring Ø250;
Variable carriage speed from 1 to 30 m/min with electro-mechanical inversion and possibility to select the length of the run;
Automatic grinding wheel increment and programmable total as well as partial downstroke for each single run by means of a digital programmer (PLC);
Programmable work cycles: roughing, finishing, spark-out;
Longitudinal adjustment from 0° to 3°of the grinding wheel axis in relation to the magnetic chuck;
Grinding wheel quick up and down movements, and slow downfeed;
Coolant collection tank outside the basement, fitted with 80 l/min. motor pump and with static magnetic filter.
