The Italian made MVM MX150 Knife Grinders are available from Tuckwell Machinery.

The MX150 heavy duty knife grinder is available in seven versions: with a working length of 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3000mm, 3500 mm or 4500mm.

The MX 150 is suitable for a broad range of industrial knives, such as chipper knives, granulator blades, veneer knives and paper knives.

Mini-PLC controlling automatic downfeed, automatic working cycle, spark-out and downfeed right or left and right
Grinding wheel motor 5,5 kW (7,5 HP) with segment grinding wheel Ø 178mm;
Extremely quiet and vibration-free grinding head;
Carriage drive via toothed belt for a fluid translation;
High flow of coolant onto work piece;
Magnetic chuck;
Variable carriage speed 1-20 m/min;
Switch for carriage run adjustment.
