A compact HEPA dust extractor, the Vortex V17-2 has a single motor with a two stage filtration system. The conical pre-filter catches all the large to medium sized dust particles. The certified HEPA filters collect the smallest and most harmful dust. Coupled with our unique Jet Pulse filter cleaning and continuous drop down bagging system. Collecting and handling dust is easy and safe.

Designed for mobility the Vortex V17-2 is easy to load and unload. Suitable for grinders up to 250mm, including hand held edge grinders.

WHAT IS A HEPA H13 FILTER?
High Efficiency Particulate Air filters (HEPA), are included in Vortex Dust Extractor Models V17-2, V34-2, V36-2 and V76-2. These models have a two stage filtration system including a main CONICAL and HEPA 13 filter. The HEPA 13 filter meets the strict standard (EN1822:2209) level of H13. The H13 is designed to separate up to 0.30 ?m dust particles with an efficiency > 99.97%. Securing a high standard of quality and safety. In addition, each filter in the Vortex 2 series dust extractor range is individually tested and certified before delivery, to ensure that every filter meets and fulfils the HEPA H13 standard.

WHAT IS A H-CLASS DUST EXTRACTOR?
The international standard for testing wet and dry extractors, dust extractors (IEC-, EN-), is classified into three categories – L for low, M for medium and H for high – where the H category is the most stringent. This is a standard which “deals with the safety of electrical motor-operated vacuum cleaners, including back-pack vacuum cleaners, and dust extractors, for wet suction, dry suction, or wet and dry suction, intended for commercial indoor or outdoor use with or without attachments.” The CE covers the standard.
