Variobend - Automation package for DB - models - 6 meters
The integrated side feed device on the side can automatically pull in sheets quickly and flexibly into the Variobend double bender. In addition, automatic loading of several sheets with the same profiles is possible. For example, 2 x 4 meters are drawn in on an 8 meter machine and folded automatically. A camera system is also integrated in the side infeed, which detects the position of the metal sheets and opens the right flashing on the Variobend using a barcode on the metal sheet.
The package also includes the newly developed smart work table that moves vertically to the right and left. As a result, several layers can be processed automatically without prior stacking and sorting.
In order to be able to perform the above functions, the respective docking station is required. The docking station on the Variobend includes not only the fixation of the table by means of automatic clamping but also the motor unit that makes the smart work table vertically movable. In addition, the Variobend docking station guarantees that the metal sheets can be drawn into the machine in a process-stable manner. The docking station on the Slinet is also used to firmly fix the smart working table. This ensures that the sheets from the slitting and cut-to-length line are always in the right position and thus ensure the subsequent process.

This unprecedented system offers the greatest possible automation of the entire bending process. Personnel costs can thus be significantly reduced. The entire bending process can be carried out by just one operator.
