-Vertiy oriented ceramic media stirred mills that reduce energy consumption for finer grinding applications, estimated below 1mm product size. Slurry enters at the top, travels downward through the mill chamber, and flows through a media retention screen at the base. The rotating impeller activates inert ceramic grinding media inside the milling chamber. This activation fluidises the media bed which performs an attrition grind on the particles in the slurry.
The system is designed to allow changes to the grinding energy distribution within the mill by varying media charge to optimise operating costs,
