Used Ward Turret Lathe
This English-made Ward 7DS capstan lathe, also known as a turret lathe, features a spindle bore of 2½ inches. It offers a spindle speed ranging from 37 to 750 RPM and is equipped with a carriage which moves along the bed & has front & rear tool posts, typiy used for turning, facing & parting off operations. As well as the standard 6-station turret.
Turret lathes are typiy used for high-volume, repetitive machining operations where multiple cutting tools are needed in sequence. They feature a rotating turret that holds multiple tools, allowing operators to perform various machining processes—such as turning, drilling, boring, and threading—without manually changing tools.
